Ray Yucis

Ray is proud to return to SummerStage for his twelfth season as director.  His previous productions here include Oklahoma!, Carousel, Annie Get Your Gun, A Grand Night for Singing, Bye Bye Birdie, Annie, South Pacific, Les Misérables, Let's Revue, My Fair Lady and How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

 

For the past three years, Ray was the director/moderator for The Limelighters at Leonia High School where he directed Godspell, Pippin, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and several evenings of one-act plays.

 

A Life Member of Bergen County Players, Ray directed their productions of Brooklyn Boy, The Women, Moonlight & Magnolias, Comic Potential (Perry Award nomination as Best Director), Company, Around the World in 80 Days, and Time Stands Still.

 

For the Players Guild of Leonia, he staged Comedy of Errors, The Fantasticks, As Bees in Honey Drown, and Black Comedy. As an actor Ray has appeared at various theaters in such shows as Pack of Lies, Take Me Out, Tartuffe and The Actor's Nightmare.

 

He wishes to thank the SummerStage Executive Board for their continued support, and the amazing casts and crews which have helped to create amazing productions year after year.
